Some of my coworkers remember having sit-ins in high school

  • CW1: I remember sit-ins. We'd just sit in the hall and refuse to go to class as a protest.
  • CW2: What were you protesting?
  • Me: *sotto voce* Going to class.
  • CW1: I don't even remember anymore.
  • CW3: Well, we always had the Vietnam War to protest when I was in school. Nobody wanted to graduate and immediately get drafted.
  • Me: I went to high school in the early 90's. We didn't protest anything if we didn't like it. We just wore flannel and moped.
