Learning to Talk to Project Managers

  • Coworker: I know you said you wanted to talk with some other people about the situation, because it will cost a lot of time and money if we have to throw this away, but we're on a really tight schedule. Is there any way you can let me know now?
  • Me: Well, if I have to make a decision now, I'm going to tell you to throw it away, but if you give me a little time, maybe we can come up with a way to save it.
  • CW: Ok...Why don't you talk to them and then let me know.
  • Me: That sounds good.
