Mostly Shuffling
1. Fire Fly - Childish Gambino
2. It Won’t Be Like This For Long - Darius Rucker (I think I like him better as a country singer than with Hootie, and I loved Cracked Rear View when I was a freshman in college. Ok fine, I would probably still like it if I listened to it now. Also, this song about his daughter really gets to me.)
3. Re: Your Brains - Jonathan Coulton (The first of two zombie songs on this list. I don’t know.)
4. Celebrate - Common (A piece of this song came on the other day, and Olivia stopped playing with her toys so she could get up and dance. Can’t say I disagree with her.)
5. Blowin’ Trees - Nappy Roots
6. Whiskey Lullaby - Alison Krauss and Brad Paisley (A ballad about a couple that breaks up and drinks themselves to death. Not depressing at all.)
7. We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions - Jonathan Coulton
8. The Cool - Lupe Fiasco (Without a doubt the best allegorical rap song with a zombie protagonist)
9. Baile de los Pobres - Calle 13 (I don’t understand a single thing they say except “Tiger Woods”, but Puerto Rican hip hop with kind of a bhangra beat makes me want to dance, apparently.)
10. Close Every Door - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (What? I can’t listen to Donny Osmond singing show tunes?)
Bonus: The Believer - Common w/ John Legend (Because I heard Celebrate earlier, and I wanted to hear more from The Dreamer/The Believer.)
