8 Things I’ve Done That Most of You Haven’t. Probably haven’t anyway. And just most, not all.
Ok, I think I’ve weasel-worded the title enough that I can think of a few things.
1. Was a co-author on a published article about sequencing an organism’s entire genome. (My contribution wasn’t huge, and I was one of like 20 or 30 authors on the paper, but it still counts.)
2. Auditioned for Jeopardy. (Obviously, since I’m just saying auditioned it didn’t go that well. The question/answer part went fine. I need to be less boring and have better stories. Have you seen how awful the stories contestants on Jeopardy tell are? Yeah, I couldn’t come up with anything as good as those. Sad.)
3. Met the (late) fantasy author Robert Jordan. I think we have 4 books in the Wheel of Time series signed by him.
4. Own autographed cook books. (I’ve actually posted pics of both on here. One is from Alton Brown and the other is Chris Lilly. Both were gifts.)
5. Attended 2 straight NCAA Frozen Fours (and attended events at 4 out of 5 Frozen Fours).
Ok, I’m really stretching with some of these, and I can’t come up with anything else, so I guess that’s it.
