I allow entirely too much of my self worth to be determined by other people’s opinions and perceptions of me. I’m not sure what bothers me more: that it’s wrong and illogical or that the fact that I am by nature an introvert (and a borderline extreme one at that) means that I will never have many people who perceive me the way I want.
